Although there is a strict performance-based system, I am able to have discretion in my work hours and time off, so that I am able to work passionately on both my work and my interests.
My main job is to create opportunities by meeting with companies that are interested in HubSpot, and hand it over to the direct sales team. I am working hard through trial and error to get as many customers as possible to be interested in HubSpot. The appeal of the inside sales position is that I can introduce HubSpot to customers for the first time. It is especially rewarding when a customer who had never heard of HubSpot becomes interested in it as I talk with them.

I became interested in HubSpot because I strongly identified with the culture and the idea of inbound, and I decided to join the company because I was further attracted by the people aspect of the company. Now, as a direct sales representative, I am working with the hope of leading more customers’ businesses to success through introducing HubSpot to them.
What I find attractive about HubSpot is the concept of "SFTC (Solve For The Customer)" in the culture. For example, when I communicate with my colleagues or other departments, I can ask, "Is that SFTC?" I feel that this leads to customer satisfaction every day.

My current position is Customer Onboarding Specialist, providing operational support to customers after they have signed a contract with HubSpot. I am not only giving advice on the HubSpot functions, but also supporting customers’ sales and marketing strategies and execution. I wanted to work for a company that has strong values and culture. I think the fact that I can choose how I want to work also contributes to a good working environment. I personally chose to work remotely this year, which allows me to focus on my work while being involved in the growth of my three beautiful children. I work in a very privileged environment where I can also be involved in the growth of our clients through the wonderful product called HubSpot. -
Shunsuke Iwasaki Customer Success Manager TokyoMeet ShunsukeI joined HubSpot in early 2022 and have been with the company for about a year now. As a Customer Success Manager, I provide business consultation to HubSpot customers on their business (mainly marketing and sales operations) by helping them take advantage of the various features of HubSpot. I was introduced to HubSpot by a former colleague and was intrigued by the company's culture and work style. In particular, SFTC (Solve For The Customer), HEART, and Transparency are what I find most appealing and important to me. The environment where I can work with colleagues who literally embody the culture is also very appealing. Another thing that I find attractive is the diversity in work styles. I work remotely from home and sometimes work at my own or my wife's parent's home, which I think is a great environment where I can focus on my work while also cherishing time with my family.
