The HubSpot Culture Code captures our values, how we work, and the ways we help employees find an amazing work-life fit. The original Culture Code has over 4M views, and we recently localized it to share with our community in Japan.
I joined HubSpot in 2021 and have been with the company for about 1.5 years. Although there is a strict performance-based system, I am able to have discretion in my work hours and time off, so that I am able to work passionately on both my work and my interests.
My main job is to create opportunities by meeting with companies that are interested in HubSpot, and hand it over to the direct sales team. I am working hard through trial and error to get as many customers as possible to be interested in HubSpot. The appeal of the inside sales position is that I can introduce HubSpot to customers for the first time. It is especially rewarding when a customer who had never heard of HubSpot becomes interested in it as I talk with them.
I joined the company in 2020 as a sales representative. I became interested in HubSpot because I strongly identified with the culture and the idea of inbound, and I decided to join the company because I was further attracted by the people aspect of the company. Now, as a direct sales representative, I am working with the hope of leading more customers’ businesses to success through introducing HubSpot to them.
What I find attractive about HubSpot is the concept of "SFTC (Solve For The Customer)" in the culture. For example, when I communicate with my colleagues or other departments, I can ask, "Is that SFTC?" I feel that this leads to customer satisfaction every day.
